Only 35 miles away lies the picturesque location of Snowdonia and within 18 miles is Llangollen with it's famous steam railway. Nearby, the Market Towns of Mold & Ruthin have plenty to offer and if you continue on for 15 miles, you will find yourself within the historic City Walls of Roman Chester. Excellent shopping facilities make for a great day out. Alternatively, you could just spend a lazy day relaxing in our pretty cottage garden. Sit and daydream by the pond or take a stroll around our 3 acres of natural meadow and woodland. To round off the day, there are many superb local inns and restaurants, tempting you with their culinary expertise. Local activities include walking, cycling, swimming, a fitness centre, horse-riding, fishing and paragliding to name a few. Also nearby are many historic castles, gardens, craft centres, cinemas and the landmark of the area- Theatre Clwyd, a major regional theatre.
